DEATHS _ LOG _ NOTABLE-INSTANCES :
001 : First death from overheating after a gas leak from an artifact caught fire. Body was recovered to Central Command and cloned.

Clone of subject seemed to entirely fit testing guidelines: Going by its alias as if it was its real name and in no way referencing its past.

002 : Positioned as a Research Assistant and in close contact with known syndicate agent ‘Monoma Moondancer’, whom he met in his very first shift aboard Station 14.

Was handed a pistol by said agent and told to assassinate a target. Panicked before shooting the agent dead.

Died two weeks later in an artifact chamber’s airlock room after being trapped without tools or an id. Subject was transmogrified into a monkey, scrambled into the next room over, and received no response over radio when asking for rescue.

Death was a suicide as oxygen ran out inside the room ; subjects original soul was lost.

003 : First clone with a soul inserted VIA cognizine. Implantation was completely successful, the subject noticed nothing out of the ordinary.

004 : Subject began to show mental issues a few weeks after its cloning. Severe kleptomania, erratic behavior, and difficulty controlling its impulses. It was imprisoned whilst trying to steal the Acting Captain’s pet fox.

Contraband was confiscated from the subject; no syndicate items were present. Subject admitted the items were obtained from underground dealing in the Spinward Sector.

006 : Reprimanded after it was caught on camera assisting known syndicate agent ‘Monoma Moondancer’ break into the security department with potassium and water explosives.

Provided no useful information during interrogation.

009 : Contacted a branch of the syndicate connected to The Gorlex Marauders. How the subject got the information to do so has not been confirmed. ‘Monoma Moondancer’ recently vanished from the observation of Nanotrasen entirely at the time and is theorized to be the source.

Given a mission to assassinate two targets, and due to the station having negligent security and engineering staff it succeeded easily ; both murders were carried out during a blackout.

Subject bashed in its two victims bodies with a red toolbox. Consumed the brains and internal organs of the targets and left nothing but bloodied remains. Targets subsequently became unsalvageable.

It then washed off itself, changed clothes, and re-integrated into its workflow before the station was evacuated. Later by boarding a small shuttle docked to Central Command it vanished tracelessly.

010 : Clone created with backup brainscan of ‘007’, who repeatedly denied having any knowledge of The Spinward Syndicate.

Subject was then moved to a station with much more competent staff and security - and a station AI. Notes were given to command staff to keep careful watch of it for odd behavior.

023 : Due to gaining competence over time, the subject was made Captain during a command staff shortage. Camera footage showed the subject’s mindshield implant was damaged by an unruly passenger wielding a baseball bat.

The subject's mental state and ability to retain long term memories degraded over the following space-month and it failed to keep up with compensation for its genetic degradation. - [One of many Long Term side effects of repeated Soul Transfers.]

Its issues came to a peak during a shift where it wrote rambling notes on a ‘Captains Thoughts’ paper in its room shortly after waking up for the day's shift. These notes were about intrusive thoughts it received that made it want to activate the station's Nuclear Fission Explosive. The explosive was hauled into the subject’s room as well, with a Nuclear Authentication Disk inserted.

The subject's writing was faxed around the station by a passenger who broke into the Captains Quarters.
It was then Apprehended at Central Command and forced to receive psychotic treatment and evaluation. Demoted to Head of Personnel after stabilization.
